It would reduce the amount of people with reserved slots at any given time. If its still a problem we can always up the price! MUAHAHAHA
Also if there's not a billion reserved slotters, maybe we can remove the 16-max limit.

I think an eventual expiring membership is an excellent idea. This allows people contribute more evenly over the time they are interested in playing at sourceop.
I also liked Nephyrin's idea about previous contributions being applied to any new system. I think this would allow many people to still get some appreciation of their previous contributions in the new system. Perhaps, though, there should be some limits on how much previous contributions should be carried over - not that I would mind if the entire amount did!

New idea: kick anyone that hasn't scored a point on map start after 10 minutes.
There's three on right now who have play time of 10 minutes (meaning they joined the map after it started) and have 0 points. While normally I'd say points don't mean shit, in this case they mean that three people have been doing fuck-all for 10 minutes while there's a line of people waiting to join that want to actually play.

That could be problematic for me on Saturday nights after I've been drinking a bit and it takes me a bit longer to get moving. Then again after 5 brews, I stop playing Sniper entirely since I can't focus.

w+m1 sniper can be played blitzed. Just throw piss at people and you'll get a point within 2 minutes, easy.

Uh, Womby, here in Canada, we drink 6%-6.5% alcohol, not that 3%-4% 'regular' beer you have in the US.
