All the people with reserve slots deal with this some time or another. Quick solution is to just change ur playing time.
There have already been several posts like this in the past, just refer to them for the outcome(s).

Tiered slots may be the best way to solve this, whilst still letting people keep their old reserve slots
6 perma slots (donated at some point in time)
6 monthly donation slots ($5 a month)
6 quarterly slots ($25 every 3 months)
2 Womb Raider slots (god tier rich guy donations)
That leaves 12 normal slots, and will fix some of the congestion the server has.
As it stands now, the slots do nothing to maintain the servers. People with reserved slots aren't getting to play at all, and are peacing out to other servers slowly. When that happens you lose any donations they might have made in the future forever.
people spend hundreds of dollars on hats and shit, so I'm pretty sure those prices are fairly reasonable, and would provide those who actually care about the server some incentives to donate again/more.

Mentioned in past threads, $10; 1 year, imo. 1/2 reserved and 1/2 not, is fine like it is now.

Yes there have been threads before about reserved slots. But after DF ran his promotions with items, a shit ton of people donated to the servers. There may have been complaints before but for several months now I hardly ever bother trying to get into valve maps 1, it's insanity sometimes, it's never been this hard to get into the server like it is now.
