This is the closest thing to an off topic forum, so I figured to post here. Wondering if anyone else has knowledge of the Source engine code or mapping in hammer editor. Share some tips, post questions, etc.

For starters; I finally figured out how to make objects explode! :lol: Yes everything from toilets to watermelon to ordinary bricks are now combustable. The map I'm working on is 90% finished. The other 10% being a problem I'm having with vehicles. Just started experimenting with brush-based vehicles. Standard box with phys_restraints, some thrusters, and the proper logic_entities. The default airboat and buggy physics have been acting up though On a lighter note, I have working rain, 3d skybox, and watery death (those little worm things). So is anyone else in the SourceOP community a mapper? Would love to hear input on work that you've done.

Ive been given a choice betwen two popular mmo's and i dont have enough time or money to do both, my coices are:

ROSE-online
RAGNAROK-online

those are my two favorite mmos ever, so heres the situation:

ROSE: i like the gameplay community better, including the 3D views and graphics, but that can bring a low framerate in key events, i had a good charicter and it got deleted for inactivity back when it was still free to play (its always fun to start over), but in 4 days its going PAY-2-PLAY. IF i register now and get my account pre-payed i can get my first payment reduced by %50, which is a great deal if i buy 6 months.

RAGNOROK: The people themselfes on this game are nicer and more playable, people here will take the time to talk to you and help you out in a quest if you need it. the isometric graphics make it so it doesnt lag or lower its framerate aat any point in the game. the key factor here is that i already have a charicter that is at a medium level that i really like, BUT its more money...

i need a third oppinion, i need an MMORPG to play, so please vote and respond.

what do you mean more classes to tf2?

I think you should take vac off your servers becuase it wrongly bans people for there money and would shorten loading time to join, let more players in (me). I will respect your wishes if you want to keep it on, I just think it would be better...

theyve been deleting my posts... im sure of it... they are out to ruin my reputation by deleting all of my best posts AND THEY KNOW IT!!!! they think that if they delete enough of them that ill look inactive so they can delete my accont... BUT NO, I WONT LET IT HAPPEN!!!!!!!! everybody, im sure youll only get to read this once before they delete it... i know i cant do anything about it, so i will do what everybody else who has a retarted problem that isnt going to be solved, EPETTITION!!!!! This very well could be something on my part, but here is my problem. I can mess with most of the DF_ stuff, I made myself an admin "Name:Tech"

It tells me things like grabent, or DF_password "ThePassword" aren't commands. I even made myself admin through admintut. What am I missing? I can't really do slay, slap or kick through SourceOP either.
