just after ithought nothing could get any worse than steam, steam made VAC2 affect garry's mod!

steam is now worse at managing half life than itself...

furthermore, WTF IS HACKING ON GMOD GONNA HURT, ZOMG HE CAN AIMBOT AND POINT OBJECTS AT ME, AAAAAAAHHHH, BAN HIM. god damnit...

i think its time to get another copy of HL2 and start an international VAC-boycottn or the IVB. restart WON using private servers and shmoe steam off the map...

Yeah im trying to make another dedicated server and i keep getting a error message thats really ticking me off!

This is for TFC and soon ill host on another computer SourceOP.

This is for TFC! If someone would be so kind to upload the file somewhere and post the link for it i would be grateful. It would be better if DF actully helped out since he hosts a dedicated TFC server.

Thanks in advance.

There are oh so many reasons why one should hate apple. I will cover a few.

A. They are overpriced.

Go to the apple store in chicago and youll encounter a plethora of over-priced POS's. I will admit, they look cool; but it seems that the design team at apple employs the only competent workers, because the systems suck and the programs are even worse. OS X, like the computers themselves is flashy but I hate it! The accesories for the Ipod range in price for 20 $ for a plastic belt clip, to 80 $ for a wireless radio output device, I bought the 15 $ equivilent at best buy, and it works great.

B. The ipod mini sux.

I was one of those unfortunate souls that bought the ipod mini. The battery life on it is about 90 minutes or less =\ so the only place you can listen to it is near a power source! Also the battery life indicator in the ipod will say I have 2/3 battery life left, then when I go to play a song, I get this message that says your battery is empty or some bull crap and it shuts off. On top of all those battery problems, it leaks like a mofo. If I leave my ipod fully charged, in my bag for two days without fail it will have no battery left when I try to use it.

C. ITunes SUX!

ITunes is one of the most ill-conceived programs to date, This is actaully what inspired me to write this about apple because as I type this itunes is frozen on my computer. First of all there should be a better way to use multiple ipod's on one computer, They do let you plug in more than one, But you have to take files from the same library. You should be able to make different libraries for different Ipod's or be able to automatically upload from a library, or at least a play list! The best solution would be to be able to have accounts! The main reason why I hate this, is that for a while all my sisters songs ended up on my ipod because of the automatic uploads (which I eventually turned off), but still having to sort through MOUNTAINS of songs to be able to find yours is horrible. Also you can't drag and drop files directly to the library which sux when you want to transfer a bunch from a separate program. When you have more than one windows accounts signed on at the same time, itunes won't detect your ipod even when windows does. Also Itunes has like three processes running, why the heck do you need three processes for one proggy!

Ah, well probably 90% of this is fixable by not using an ipod, but I am kind of stuck with it =\.

Share your hate towards apple here, misdirected or not Big Grin [/u]

I propose a new style for the mapvote, since people can be absolutely clueless, it could have the old hl1 interface where it randomely chooses like 8 out of its list and displays them for the players to vote on. The plug in I remember displayed them in the same spot, and format as radio commands in cs. This would (if possible) be an easier interface that people would be more likely to actually vote in. The only times mapvotes have worked for me in SourceOP is when I'm with 4 or less ppl Sad . Also for the current style maybe typing "vote nextmap" should vote for the next map.
