Hi guys! This is my first post here Big Grin

Anyways I am kind of disappointed, I finally found an Arena server somewhat close to me that gives me decent ping, well I just got temporarily banned as well as some other guy because some random guy started a votekick and said I was lagging! 80% agreed!

The worst part is I had 58Ping and the guy who started the votekick only did it because I was questioning his reason for getting a guy before me votekicked, he claimed the guy was aimbotting but he was a soldier and looked clean to me. Anyways how do I get back on, or how long does the kick last?? Cry

Edit: ehh looks like the kick is expired now! Still I am kind of disappointed that so many people are getting kicked for no reason. Sad

Hey there, new user to the sourceop forums, having a problem trying to connect to Servers hosted by Sourceop.

Recently my friends had joined your servers, playing things like Prop hunt and other mods on the servers listed by sourceop. A few days ago they tried to invite me to the game on the server's hosted by you and when I try to connect to the server it says that the server is not responding.

I tried a few things to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end, so I tried to join other servers and was able to connect perfectly fine to all the servers. The server I have been trying to join for the past 2 days is sourceop.com TF2 prophunt servers IP: "74.55.49.244:27015".

My friends tried to invite me via the Steam's Friend list invite to game feature and I got the same Server is not responding message. I tried to connect through the TF2 console command and still got an Error message when trying to join.

Just thought i should post this here.

Hello, I'm looking to appeal a ban from a little over a year ago issued due to mic spam on one of your 2fort servers. I have no excuse or reason for the way I acted in the past, though I have ceased from using mic spam programs, or mic spamming in any other way.

I request this appeal for the reason that I would like to support your servers and am willing to donate within the next month if the ban is lifted.

Details as follows

I want to start idling but I don't want to put hundreds and hundreds of hours of unnecesary work hours onto my hard drive (which has been causing a lot of premature failures in idlers that I have seen)

The solution I have found was to load TF2 into a ram disk. I have enough ram, I have already set up a ram disk, but is there a way to run TF2 from a different location than my steam folder so that I won't lose all of my settings when I have to dump this volatile memory?
