well phpbb2 can be easily hacked unfortunately, I strongly suggest an upgrade to Phpbb3 it's sick as hell, so many more options admin-side.
Just don't go to Vbulletin, EVERYONE I KNOW is on Vbulletin.

The problem is, it's a bitch to upgrade phpBB as a module for phpNuke. I haven't done it either. Fuck it. Life is too short for that kind of thing. Nothing profound is being said on phpBB forums. NOTHING.

This may be true. That's why I highly suggest Joomla. Best CMS ever.
