Will Sdogg accept my challenge?

I look forward to this very low quality match; If it happens that is.

I am thinking at least 12v12.
Map make up is fine.
No class restrictions.
It will have to be another night than Sunday.
No random crits, fixed aim spread.

1. getting 12 players together and organized is very difficult(set a date that works with everyone, make sure everyone can stay make sure everyone can agree on a time, it's a mess)2. 12v12+any of these maps=lots of spam. 3. No class restrictions? There are reasons medics and demomen are limited to 1 per team.
But honestly why am I trying to reason with Sdogg? I await a wall of text telling me how wrong he thinks I am.

I was a commando you know.

I can see restricting demomen, but restricting medics to anything less than 4 is is just plain gay.

Yeah! That will prove you are the bestunder extremely restricted conditions that YOU defined!

I know.

An environment (6v6) that requires different strats. You can count on two hands the number of times I have played these matches.
Class restrictions. I have played probably a handful a games in my life with them and I think they are just a way to limit strategy.
Two maps I don't even play.

I mean if we are going with this format you might as well not even play payload.

Yep, definitely fair.

Well he is thinking of an actual six v six environment. Which restricts the medic class to one. Putting badwater on the list is definitely not throwing me a bone.

12v12 at least (Styles we are both familiar with)
No class restrictions (Once again a style of play we are both familiar with)
Map make up is fine (We play Gold Rush, two we don't play but I am willing to concede playing maps I don't know)
No crits (We wouldn't want the pro maps guys to worry about us getting lucky crits).

glouch Wrote:The problem is that you can't prove who is better than the other. They may be good at goldrush, but they'll be pretty terrible at granary. It all depends on the map. This is also the fundamental flaw in sdogg's logic: how can he be better than everyone if he plays almost exclusively on 2 maps?

Where did I say I was better than "everyone?" I have no problems subjecting myself to granary. I do have a problem with 6v6.

Funny proposal, amusing ego-centric arguments, and awesome pics. This thread delivers.

I just see it as sk8s attempt to side-step a "real" matchup.

having messy unorganized gameplay sounds "real" to you?
