Actually, it could be a interesting concept.

I vote replace the "24/7 nomods 2fort" with "24/7 sd
custommaps" !

Yes, I agree it would be interesting. I'm unsure of how popular it would be. Most disconnects seem to happen during sudden death anyways. I think this is why the instant respawn server is popular. It has constant action which seems to be what people want. Like 25%-50% of the instant respawn server leaves between the time sudden death starts and the time the map reloads. If there is no sudden death, less people leave. Late at night it gets harder to fill that back up.

Yeah but that's because people don't like sudden death... if there was a server that says "Sudden death 24/7" the people that are going to connect are the people that don't disconnect during sudden death... because those people like sudden death. Otherwise they wouldn't have connected in the first place. In order words, there wouldn't be as much disconnects during sudden death as servers that are not sudden death only.

I think it's more just that it's a convenient time for people to log off, not so much they hate sudden death or the waiting.
