People have also said give reserved slots to the players listed on "top10" (but I think that was just people on the top10 list who said that). I don't think it's going to happen. I need the donations to pay for the servers. Those who donate once are encouraged to donate again if they continue to enjoy playing.

If it ever happens that I get more donations than the goal, I will put it towards additional servers, services (e.g. HLStatsX costs extra), and development.

Not a fan of reserved slots. It just creates a race situation where eventually everyone has to have one. I don't mind waiting a couple minutes to get in. I do mind getting kicked for some chump who threw ya 5 bucks.

lol... clem if you ever got kicked by the reserved slot system, it would be a cold day in hell. The reserved slot system kicks the player with the lowest kpd ratio, not the highest .

To circumvent the "everyone has to have one" problem, there are only 4 reserved slots available on the server at one time. This means once 4 players are on the server with reserved slots, a player with a reserved slot has to wait like everyone else and he or she is also subject to being kicked like everyone else.

Also, said chumps are enocuraged to through more than $5 :lol:.

Guess I am going to have to stop playing medic then. Not uncommon to have a poor k/d as you might think. Been kicked 3 times this week.
