I am not going to speak about how we are able verify such things as I know less then ethical people lurk here.

Yeah I understand why you wouldn't want to discuss the details, just wanted to confirm. I have absolutely no clue how it would be possible but I guess I'll take your word for it. Anyway, bitcoin should be in a better position for independent verification in the near future, with multisignature transactions and the payment protocol.

Sigs can be verified, but just as easily changed in seconds. Only way this could conceivably work is users disclose a public address in threads, not sure if they would go for it.
I can't speak for anyone else but personally I am fine with putting a public address if it means I can use SourceOP to sell stuff again.

We probably will allow this soon. waiting for one of my mods to make a writeup/post for me to review/sticky.

That is great. I noticed a reduction in how often I had buyers when I was unable to use SorceOp, not to mention having no recent rep looks fishy.

I have a question in regards to bumping threads. I know there's a 2 hour anti-bump timer but does that mean I can bump my topics every 2 hours with no other restrictions (eg. does my thread need to be on page 2 before I am allowed to bump it?)

No other restriction on that other then the auto anti-bump.
