So, Hamm's gamepad thread shows quite alot of us use some sort of programmable input so lets hear what some people do with it! Also could help one another by sharing hotkeys and such.

I don't currently map anything on my g15's macro keys
For my g5 I map a few things on a couple of different games.

tf2:
I map engiee's equipment turn to the mousewheel nudge button.
mouse2 gets mapped to pistol quickfire
Been planning to map a melee attack>lastweapon script to thumb button

Warcraft3 (DotA):
I use autohotkey to map mouse wheel up/down to different inventory slots
Then setpoint both wheel nudge buttons and thumb button also to different inventory slots.

Back on topic here...

I tried mapping my whole g15 keyboard to each game but found that's just not a good idea.

I play to many games to list exactly what I do with each but I mainly use g3, g6, g9, g12, g15, and g18 because they're the closest to my hands while holding the WASD keys.

My pinkie stretches from the bottom to the top.

see ive got the g15 version with only g1-g6 buttons. so what do you map all those for in tf2?

I moved my wasd to the g8, 10, 11,12, I set crouch to g7 and I move up to g4, 5, 6 for weapon change. I have medic on g1, and thanks on g2. Makes life easier for me that way. The N52 I use mainly for MMO play.

The only thing I have to map in TF2 is for the Spy disguises. Since you have to be fast at Spy it's handy to have custom keys. Other than that there's not much reason to map anything else.
