ive never read it because $BCI$ has determined that tucker max is indeed a buster, and not a baller as he claims
The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.

George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Philip K. Dick. You know, the dystopian kind of stuff.

Currently reading through the First Law Trilogy and the two successors of it by Joe Abercrombie. Pretty good stuff, although not as "oh my god fucking great" as critics made him.
Afterwards I'll be diving into the new Books of Brandon Sanderson. I loved Mistborn, let's hope the others are just as great. Oh yeah, and I still have to read Song of Ice and Fire. And the fourth Eragon, although I'm afraid I have to read the first three again before that. Been too long.

@Petey and andrasveto, I already watched the first season of the show on HBO, waiting for season 2.
However, I am hoping to get a copy of Game of Thrones and Clash of Kings prior to the release of the second season of the show.
I knew that final scene with Daenerys was going to happen about 2-3 episodes into the show. But I am dying to get into the series.

No, but I guess it could be an interesting time-waster, so I'll have a read. I wrote it down to buy it some time later. Thanks for the recommendation.

just rented A Game of Thrones from the library. So excited to get started on it this week.
A Song of Ice and Fire, here I come.
Also, glad to see so many responses and votes about this.
