Custom TF2 Menu (with reserved-slot join buttons)
#1

When valve released the new menu scheme, I didn't really like it for a number of reasons: it broke my old menus, and it was very mac-ish. So I made a new one. Big Grin

I added buttons to join all of the SourceOP servers, since typing in connect [ip] every time can be annoying. I also added two other buttons: A reconnect button, and an Alt-Tab glitch fixing button. (invisible people, swimming on land, etc)

Main Menu:

To install it, download the file above and extract it. Place the ui folder and GameMenu.res into C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/*YOUR*NAME*/Team Fortress 2/tf/resource

Enjoy! Smile

So a little update/bug - the Alt + Tab fix button doesn't seem to be doing the trick. The game stutters for a split second when I hit it, but can't Alt + Tab to show the Steam console. My drivers are up to date, but this doesn't seem to be helping.

The Alt + Tab fix records and stops recording a demo; its meant to fix the bug that occurs when you Alt + tab out of the game and experience missing player models, weapons etc.

Also, this doesn't fix the pink/black checkerboard issue, unfortunately, if that is what you were referring to. An easy way to fix that issue, however, is to change your anti-aliasing settings to something else, and then change it back. That fixes the pink/black squares.
