It's not? What planet do you live on?

The Associated Press Wrote:More than 110,600 Iraqis had been killed since the start of the war to April 2009. This number is per the Health Ministry tally of 87,215 covering January 1, 2005 to February 28, 2009 combined with counts of casualties for 2003–2004, and after February 29, 2009 from hospital sources and media reports

The iraq war is less than half as important as unsafe driving.

And which do you think is a real danger to YOU?

Why are you trying to compare two unrelated things? People die in automobile related accidents for many reasons - Their own mistakes, other poeples mistakes, and sometimes even their own stupidity.

However, this was brutal. They were mowed down by a foreign presence in their own country, because it was wrongly assumed they were hostile. Just walking down the street and they're all dead. Taking the life of anyone isn't something that should be taken lightly.

I forgot how much more dead you are when you are killed by a stray bullet when you are walking down the street then when you are run over by a stray car when you are walking down the street.

All of those reasons apply to the people killed in these videos.

Vehicle accidents and civilian deaths in war are both very much the same: Accidental deaths. I am not saying it is a good thing but I don't see you making a big deal about traffic collisions.

You can't really stop people from traveling in cars, but why exactly is there a war in the first place? That can and should be stopped Confused

So can drunk, negligent and/or reckless driving.

I find safe driving a lot more likely than world peace.

I'm not calling for something as improbable as world peace, there will always be people fighting with each other for different reasons. This "war" however, is something that is continuing in my opinion for no reason that justifies the high number of "casualties of war".

It is continuing because the area is unstable and has no government and if we left it would revert into a state of anarchy.

We don't need to pull out, we just need foreign support from a country that isn't hated with a passion by the people we are policing.

And by who's definition was it in a supposed state of anarchy previously?
