Collateral Murder
#21

Because they identified the civilians as hostile and they are experts at small arms.

If they understood combat LESS then less of them would be dead.

Everything omega said. If they have weapons they are hostile. Friendly causalities happen and are unfortunate. Have a palette cleanser

I don't think they saw any weapons.

You're dumb. There were no weapons. Know your stuff before posting.
I clearly saw a weapon at least halfway through. Is there no weapon because they told you there was no weapon though a gun is clearly visible about halfway through?

I don't think it is worth it, these people just tend to believe whatever TYT tells them.

Holy shit, that was efficient. You see how fast they dropped that whole group? Real enemies or stupid journalists, I still find something to admire in that video.

Creeping around in civilian clothes with an armed escort in a war zone where the primary tactic of the enemy is to blend in with the local population... pretty stupid idea. I saw dudes with AKs and right before the bird circled around and opened fire, there was that dude squatting and peaking around the corner of a building and that totally looked like an RPG. You show someone this video without a title or telling them it's a bunch of journalists, and they may have a different interpretation of events... and if they've been living in a war zone, encountering death on a daily basis... they may have an even different interpretation. It looks suspicious as hell if you don't already know what happened.

The AP doesn't seem to be throwing much blame at the military. They said it's a hazard of being a journalist in such an environment.

Fucking this. There are more RPGs in iraq than High-end video cameras.

I liked the George Orwell quote on the first video, I love his book "1984."

Its easy for you guys to say "casualty of war" but have you ever thought about what that means? You're ending an innocent persons life, thats not a small thing.
