I'm too inconsistent for competitive play and I don't do very well in 6v6 either, but I do enjoy watching competitive matches. As a matter of fact I'll be watching 20id vs Evil Geniuses (ESEA-I) tonight @ 10:00 pm EST.

Where aree you watching that? I want to watch.
As a related matter, I remember the CS 1.6 EG way back a nunmber of years ago. I liked that team back then and I liekd watching them. I remember being lucky and getting a scrim with them in the cal-p scrim room (friend gave me password, I wasn't cal-p) and they handed us our asses.

Yeah I love watching the competitive matches (either via demos or sourcetv). You learn a fair amount just by watching pro players.

i'm watching it on pwnage tv right now. I would really had preferred to watch the sourcetv b/c pwnage tv has such crappy quality. i'm also not a fan of the guy doing the shoutcast but whatevz... it's good to watch a comptetitive match, haven't done so in a while.
Thanks for the pointer, Biggs.

No prob. I just wish ESEA's STV wasn't down.
pwnage.tv isn't broadcasting for me. And leogeo2 says they aren't broadcasting in the irc channel's "topic" Oh well, I'll just watch it afterward.
Here's a demo.

The demo is probably worth watching over the pwnage.tv broadcast, anyways, in my opinion. the guy doing the shoutcast was watching in first person for most of it and he missed a lot of critical action -- he even mentioned this point many times. And again it was so low quality that it's hard to pay attention to.
It was a good match, anyways

Yea, the live stream is pretty low quality. I usually try to catch it on STV.
It was a good match though. 20id is looking pretty strong. And Saber07 is pretty vicious with the FAN. lol
leogeo2 can be good to listen to if you're new to competitive play though, because he usually explains why the team is pushing/holding/backing out and other reasoning behind a team's motives. It can help to hear those things when you've never watched a match before.

Yeah, I think he left that option out because he wanted everyone else to have a fair chance.
I'd win by a landslide
