My point by admitting I didn't play beta or console, was to prove I wasn't getting my experiences mixed up. Not to measure e-peen RE: who played TF2 first.

They fixed melee cooking and bunnyhopping at the same time without notice because those two were source engine exploits that already existed in the orangebox engine.

Nerfing the grenadelauncher is an actual TF2 gameplay asset. Gameplay changes are all mentionned.

if they changed it so early in, the way to test it would get someone who has the cd install version from when it first released, fresh install disconnect internet and play local if you can. should be the base shipped app then with no patches or updates.
