I hate crafting so much

a couple weeks ago I crafted:
snipers yellow headband + Scotsman Stovepipe = duplicate Baker Boy :\

then just two days ago I did the worst thing ever
4 refined + 1 demo token (wanted Hallmark)= Scottmans Stovepipe again

Scottsman stovepipe + Dupe baker boy = DUPLICATE TEXAS TEN GALLON

so THEN I did Tex Ten Gallon + Ushanka = RITZY RICK'S HAIR FIXATIVE FFF

finally I was really pissed so I did -
Ritzy Rick's + Camera Beard = USHANKA (THE HAT I CRAFTED AWAY MINUTES IF NOT SECONDS AGO)

Yes, your gambling addiction is Valve's fault. Valve was even nice enough to ensure when doing hat+hat that your new hat isn't one that was used to make it!

If you have a problem with Valve, I'm not sure this is the place to bring up your problem. Take it to Steam Powered forums?

Obviously I know that hat+hat is randomized but still it's ridiculous in my opinion that duplicates are even able to be crafted among other things.
