It's not for heavy minigun. Read the cvar description. It's for weapons that shoot multiple pellets with one shot.

Not exactly OZA. AFAIK that cvar really does onlly affect the soldier/heavy/engie/pyro shotties and the scattergun/FAN.

Wait, is that a client side or server side cvar? I can't imagine this would be client side. Is this enabled on any of these servers?

Well I knew that acts exactly like a shotgun when it is firing because they were too lazy (or something) to make it just fire bullets really fast.

Actually I never got a real reason for why it doesn't just shoot individual rounds.

if the miniguns in teamfortress were as accurate and deadly as in real-life, heavy would be able to snipe people accross the map and kill them within a second

Im not talking about the accuracy. I am talking about why it fires six bullets instantly instead just shooting really really fast.
