:wink: :!: :!: :!: finally i scrounged for som doh in my couch and i found enough to buy a new mic from best buy...It is a Logitech Precision PC Gaming Headset. It has noise cancelling mic, 40mm Neodymium stereo drivers(wat ever the hell that means, but its supposed 2 sound good). $26.99 i havent got it workin yet but i plan 2 be online 2 day to test things out

You know just plugging in ur mic isn't always going to work now... Sometimes you need to go into ur sound settings and set it up.

heh, i just got a voice changer program that works great for Steam games. Its called AV voice changer diamond ($99). its awesome, because not only can i make my voice into anything i want it to be, but i can buff out minor flaws created by steam's crappy audio.

um naq im already aware of that ive dont everything i can think of ,im leeving it up 2 getting help from the net now.also thanx 2 naquadria i found another way 2 post the pics of my mic and pc on the net without annoying myspace, its called putfile,,,,,

can you put some software details up please? all of the ports on your soundcard are color coded, so its impossible to put them in the wrong slot, so that wont be the problem.
jsut take some screenshots of your sound and audio properties and post them in your putfile
