So I need a way for people to create and join teams. It needs to allow players to pick what server they are from. I was about half way through doing this and then haven't worked on it since then.

Unfortunately, programming isn't on my current skill set...that will be my next degree...
What I can offer is help with the mundane side of organizing. I don't know what you see as the scope of it, but depending on the model I could help drum up sponsorship, organize time slots/registrations, etc. I also know the owner of
http://www.warfactory.net and I'm sure he would help us out in any way he could. He's done stuff for ESWC, MLG, and GotFrag.
When the time comes (if it comes), I'd love to see a SourceOP-sponsored tourney at a con somewhere. Why not be the leaders and make a market for ourselves? Maybe make a couple extra bucks, who knows? That and I'd love to talk smack to some of you people in person.
I can also think smaller than this if necessary.
