solution to team stacking! just ideas!

I would use a harmonic average (or just geometric, they end up close) rather than arithmetic average. It would yield an average closer to the true value of a team make up.

Yeah, that would be better. Where did you learn about harmonic/geometric averages? I have taken so much math and science but not really any statistics... that kind of thing interests me.

i still think this is a terrible idea, everyone is gona join red to escape the penalty and the teams with be stacked number wise, plus its a double standard, and very unsportsmanlike like

Retribution, I think you're not understanding the concept at all. The numbers I posted are the CURRENT numbers, which of course would change based on the actual teams at any given moment.

If everyone switched to red, like you suggest, they'd get the same penalty.

Right now,

Blu has avg skill of: 17,259, 1.77 k/d ratio.
Red has avg skill of: 8,385, .61 k:d ratio.

See a problem???????

I will try to put this into terms you can understand. If it is at all unclear, please let me know and I'll consult my sixth grade niece about what vocabulary might be more acceptable for speaking to someone of your level of intellect.

The goal is to balance teams. If the teams are balanced, nobody gets penalized. There of course should be SOME leeway for imbalance before a penalty would take effect.
