People abusing the kick function in TF2 Arena

I just joined the server, and people immediately are saying votekick. They wanted to kick me because it was "private", although it's a free server that anyone can join. They claim i was hacking even though i only got 1 kill.

Do you have any evidence? A Demo for example? Steam ID of the people who were saying those things to you?

I do not have the proof but there's one of the people's steamids: STEAM_0:0:90026625 (there was 5-6 others, wasn't able to get their profiles in time) Is it possible if you can check the logs? I went into the server a couple times and got votekicked a couple hoping you'd be able to find them a bit easier.

Without a demo of some sort, (dem file preferred/screen record) we cant do anything after the fact for this type of issue (cant show you were not the instigator)

If you could provide the date/time this happened, about how many people were on, if you join the server regularly (and when), we can use this to better keep an eye out on that server.

In addition, you can always use the contact admin forum for issues as well (see top sticky in this section)

I did not think to grab the id at the time i will next time i see him on, but the person that started it was a player by the name DJ. In-fact this player does this all the time trying to get people kicked, either killing them to many times, or if someone says something they do not like vote kick comes up. Most of the time nothing becomes of it, because its silly and no one cares. Unless its hacking or spamming chat, voice or being afk with a script then runs the person around. Lol he tired to do it to me because he did not like where i put my turrets and teleport pads, it did not go thru. This person try's to kick at least 2 people a day when im playing and they are on.

It would help to have a admin on in the evening/night time lots of chat spam mic spam. Lots of n words being dropped lots of racist stuff it said or sprayed in game. some hackers as well.

Next time you see him or people behaving this way, please type on the chat "contact admin" (w/o quotation mark), it will notify an admin right away.

Is that working now butane got on and tried it and it was not working. And to be fair there are of people that act like jerks or mic spam grief/harass other players or stack i would be also calling in for an admin and i do not think any admin for the server wants that, and i do not want to do that either.

But if its working ill use it only if something is really bad people argue and fight on the server. I just try to ignore the kids when the act up.

Works on every sop gameserver other then 2fort insta.. until we reboot the actual server. The thread with the contactadmin link at the top of this section works so its not like you cant reach us if really needed.
