If these maps suck are they gunna stick around in rotation? They technically weren't made by valve.

Even though Valve did not technically create the maps, they are still adopting it as one of their own.

...Also keep in mind that soon we'll have auto map veto vote, so you can skip the next map in rotation...

If the general consensus of the players find that the new maps aren't adequate, a simple vote will result in a map change. This will probably be as good as it gets - I don't think everyone on the server will dislike these maps, therefore there won't be enough demand for them to be removed from the lineup. A server-wide vote is the best plan of action.

Let the players decide - since they are the ones playing.

Unless DF decides otherwise, of course.
