Vote and discuss what the new rotation should be.
FYI: Current rotation is Gravel Pit, Well (CP), Dustbowl, Granary, Gold Rush, Well (CTF), Badlands, Hydro, 2Fort

ctf well and 2fort go well there because they're between the 3 most popular maps (gp dustobowl goldrush). well cp and hydro are both medium popularity but not as much as granary/badlands. Turbine will probably not be as popular since it's 2fort-y and Fastlane probably will be since it's Badlands-y.
Also keep in mind that soon we'll have auto map veto vote, so you can skip the next map in rotation. therefore it's nice to have unpopular maps between popular ones.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with you here. I almost voted for the 3rd, but option 2 just screams out at me more.
I'm glad we are finally getting the option to veto maps in rotation. That has been long overdue, even if there aren't any mods on the server. I hate the days when I come home and its on Well (CTF), knowing I just missed Gold Rush. I usually never stick around on Well...that map is no fun.

If these maps suck are they gunna stick around in rotation? They technically weren't made by valve.
I voted awhile ago, but now I can't remember which I voted for.

Even though Valve did not technically create the maps, they are still adopting it as one of their own.

If the general consensus of the players find that the new maps aren't adequate, a simple vote will result in a map change. This will probably be as good as it gets - I don't think everyone on the server will dislike these maps, therefore there won't be enough demand for them to be removed from the lineup. A server-wide vote is the best plan of action.
Let the players decide - since they are the ones playing.
Unless DF decides otherwise, of course.

My point was that when considering the rotation that a veto will result in a mandatory movement to the map after the next in rotation. No double vetoes or anything, in other words.
