yeah they dont mix men with women when allocating shared rooms. wonder why.

and, OP, from first hand experience, i can tell you that sharing a room can be both the most entertaining and the most irritating experience you could have at university.

i would not recommend sharing a room if you are a very neat and tidy person because as soon as someone else makes a mess it will begin to get on your nerves...its pretty invasive in that sense. but if your a messy person and pretty laid back, i would say go for it, you might have some good times.

just hope you dont get put in with a weirdo like i did first time (tho he dropped out after the first 2 weeks then i ended up sharing with a friend who had a similar first roommate to me ).
