Hey all--
I've narrowed it down to these two laptops:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6834115987
and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6834146986
things i'm confused about and would pay metal to have answered:
is acer as reliable as lenovo in terms of customer service, laptop durability, etc?
is the graphics card on the lenovo 1GB or 512MB? on newegg it says it's 1GB, but on an independent website reviewing the nvidia geforce 310m it's described as a 512MB card.
Is the acer worth the extra 50 bucks? It seems to have a much more powerful GPU, and a gigabit ethernet card, but i don't know whether those pros are worth it.
Also, I've read great things about lenovo's thinkpad series, but not-so-great things about their ideapad series. any warrant to these claims?
much appreciated, and as i said, if you're really helpful, i don't need my 37 some-odd refineds
