I'm fully aware of this, and I have even found servers without unlocks/hats, but they're always empty.

I'm sure there is a good number of people in the same boat as you. I mean its probably not hard it to find 30 other players who want to play vanilla.

lobbies basically require mics, which I don't have nor do I plan on getting, and shitty unlocks are still allowed.

I found a list of supposedly unlock-disabled servers, went through and tested them, and either they had unlocks enabled or they were empty or the server wouldn't even respond.

You won't know unless you try it. SourceOP is known for no mods. Having a vanilla server would make sense. The no crit server could be vanilla for a while and see if its a popular idea.
