Edit: Aperantly the artifacting I saw that led me to believe that it was a .jpg first was the game's rendering engine. That .png file is still horifically large, though.

To be honest, the game looks great, but I don't spend 50 bucks for graphics, I spend it knowing its going to be a good game.
