This is something that has been getting on my nerves ever since i started seeing it, everybody wants the release date for SourceOP to be REALLY SOON :roll: , but i have a state ment to make about this
In my days on my computer, i have noticed the same thing happen over and over again, PEOPLE RELEASE EVERYTHING TOO SOON AND IT SUCKS BECAUSE ITS BUGGY ASS HELL. let me give you an example, WINDOWS ME and XP BETA. everybody said, "Microsoft, release it now!", "microsoft, is it out yet?" and when they released them THEY BOTH BLEW GOAT BALLS FOR QUARTERS! So i say, let DF take his time and make a GOOD mod.
So as much as i want it to be out i would much rather have a good mod than a hastily put together peice of crap that looks cool and crashes every 2 seconds because everybody pestered it's creator too much.

What do you guys expect to see in the first release of SourceOP. I will try to fulfill your requests.

Just a small update as I am sure many are wondering and DF seems to be lagging behind on the comments :lol:
SourceOP is currently in development. 'Some' work is being done on it but since Half-Life 2's plugin system does not currently allow for much to be done, progress is very slow. The main slowdown in the progress of SourceOP is waiting for Valve to release updates and new features on the plugin system. Until then, you will not see SourceOP progress much.
DF is thinking about releasing a alpha version of SourceOP. This version would have the simple admin commands such as:
admin_ban admin_slay admin_kick admin_map
and would also have some commands to control the physics somewhat. I think DF also has a working credit system in, but with nothing to buy as of yet.
