I'm having trouble setting up a basic HL2 DM server.
I don't know what file to put int my hl2mp folder to write the settings in.
Like the listenserver.cfg file in the tfc folder.
What do I put in there?

Please post your feedback about the first version of Sourceop!

If you have a look at the homepage you will have seen a updated posted by Drunken F00l.
For those of us that are to lazy, here is what was posted:
Quote:If you weren't aware, I had put work on SourceOP on hold for quite a while. I had been fairly busy and I hoped while I wasn't working on it that maybe VALVe would improve their current plugin system. Well, that didn't happen, so I guess I will have to work with it and do what I can. Just recently in about the last couple of weeks, I've started working on SourceOP again. I've been trying to create it so that it is more user friendly than any of the other plugins I've seen. I've also included a feature that was supposed to be released with a newer AdminOP version, but never was. You can expect a release of SourceOP in about two weeks. It shouldn't take that much time, but knowing how I am, it could even take longer. I look forward to hearing your feedback.

Since they released a new Metamod for Source does this mean SourceOP will finally be worked on more?

ok... I added some new maps to the server. So check them out and enjoy.
** New Maps **
* ctf_well_b2
* ctf_warpath_b3ej
* ctf_2fort_b8
* dm_gulch
* dm_mine
* dm_island17
* dm_resistance
* dm_bounce_b1

I tried playing on df's hl2mp server yesterday and clicked on it on my
favorites, just to find that it was labeled out of date./
Then i looked for the server by looking for it with no filters and alphabetizing thelist, organizing it by game type, even by map type, and i still could not find it. The only way to join df's server is by ip address.
Anyone else have this prob?
do what you did in adminop, add some weapons.
like put the Egon in the game but one on each map *i no this means you will have to edit maps but it will be on ur server only unless u can figure how to get it so people can download it, but anyways there is only one on each map in a VERY secret place *also might have to edit*
for an e.g. say ur a map and ur running then u see a pic on a wall and a certain picyure you can destroy and jump up in there and grab the egon
make the health of the breakable REALLY high so that if grenades are going of or even slam it will take ALOT to destroy it
you can add more classic games also

Alright guys, we need to start giving DF some modivation to create sourceOP or else I fear the project will die of old age!

is there any tiny little update u can give us cuz im bored
(CLICK MY SIG!! lol)

This is the shit im talking about, best third party models, best textures, doesnt look anything like Half life 2, yet just as good.
"We like to call Dystopia a 'game' rather than a mod.", [DFC]Rei tells me as he explains that its more like a total conversion, origional everything!
This is definately looks like its going to be one of the greatest 3PM's ever made. I hope this Cyberpunk classic gets the recognition it deserves! Keep up the good work, keep at it Dystopia-Team!
