  Split e_kill into 2 commands

I really like the feature for sourceop, but i was wonder if it could be split apart into 2 commands. one would kill a player by pointing at them, and the other would remove objects.

It's a nice command, but i had some complaints about admin's abusing the kill part of the command.

Just something to think about for the next sourceop.

It was fun! I did this to somebody on the 2fort instant respawn server and then to myself on the valve maps server. Fun times were had.

I like running the credits system on my fun server for hl2dm, but i cant figure out how to configure it so people can earn credits on maps like mag_surf.

These are the cvars I've tried

DF_credits_cheatprotect_on 0
DF_credits_cheatprotect_amount 120
DF_credits_cheatprotect_time 1

But i still can't get it.

They earn 100 points for beating the course, and all of the credit are earn at once.

any suggestions. :?

So I only have one last session of reinstalling windows and I can start getting everything overclocked and tuned, then I can start gaming again.

I am also down to one more part before I can call it done. All I need is one last bracket so that I can install my cooler (Because my friend thought it would be cool to throw the one that came with it into the garbage).

I was cheating earlier by doing the engineer score thing.

Shouldn't you also reset my score? For some reason it was still up around 10,000. So it's giving other players more points than it should, plus I only started with something like 6,000. Shouldn't you reset that?

  Lack of admins on TF2 server

First of all, great server, however it is lacking in quite a few ways.

The most important of these is the complete lack of an admin. I have played this server almost exclusively, but things are changing. There are absoluelty NO admins at any time on this server. I have never once witnessed one, and have never once had any of the regulars on that server tell me they have seen an admin.

Secondly, there is no way to voteban people. Pretty sad in this day and age.

Third, no spectator mode. Why? Again, no excuse for this.

Fourth, I am cool without any mods, but for christ sake can we at least get QUAKE SOUNDS!! Smile

Hi all,

This goes out to anyone that has set up a SourceOp server, I will be shortly setting up the server. It's a linux server with a 24 man slot.

Is there anything I should know before I start?

I have downloaded the SourceOP for linux and SourceOp for admin setup as well as admins helper.

Any help would be great! Thanks.

For the NO BS server, you might as well turn-off VAC. The ZERO admins and turning off spec is a 100% sure death to your servers. If someone comes and asks you to help admin the server and you tell him, "I don't want admins,' that is stupid.

Please change the title from NO BS to ANYTHING GOES.

Nominate those that you would like to see have kick/ban/gag powers in the 24/7 2fort [NO MODS] server. I need people who are on in the day and also people who are usually on late at night. Nominate people even if they aren't on the forums.
