So I realized I never posted these pics. There were a couple of times where I built a car and then mounted sentries on top of it using SourceOP commands. Here are the pics:

This was a fun experiment.

Details:
First, I used "e_spawnprop carwhite" to make the actual car. Then attached wheels using the "e_wheel 2" command. Then made thrusters. I used "e_thruster a 30000" in the back for forward motion and likewise with a "b" and "c" group on the front sides of the car for turning. Now you have a controllable movable car.

Then, I froze the car so people would stop moving it. Then I built two sentries (one works fine, I was just having some extra fun). Move the sentries into position on top of the car using +grabent. Then, look at the car and give it a name (use something like "admin_keyvalue targetname car1"). Then, look at the sentry gun and type in the console "e_fire SetParent car1". The sentry is now parented to the car and will follow it wherever the car goes. If you want (and of course I chose to when I did this), you can give the sentry gun extra health by using the command "e_fire SetHealth 50000" while looking at it. I think that's everything.

Ok, 1. Im not a spam bot lol.

I managed to fix the huge issue that i had, phew.

Now though, i would like to install SourceOP to my Server. I am sorta a noob when it comes to this sort of stuff, i can get instant respawn by hex editing the map but i just cant get this onto my Server lol.

Its Linux and its a dedicated Server that i access via FTP. I would really appreciate total 1000% NOOB instructions for how to get this onto my Server including how to configure admins and what not.

I am currently running mani_admin which i will remove if they clash as this looks better.

Will this allow me to change the maxplayers to 32 without us going into the Costom Tab? If so, what are the risks of being removed/ip banned?

If you think i am going to have trouble installing this and would like to talk to me were we can communicate better then add me, again, on one of the following:

For some reason there are a few things I can't do on this internet connection I'm on right now. Everything works fine on the host computer, it is just a few things that won't go. So far I have only had problems with Hotmail (separate client AND website won't connect). Myspace and Cnet. I can run skype and yahoo mail, though, which is weird.

Does anybody know of anything special that these three things share in common?

EDIT: Windows updates won't work either...

These games are really beautiful, and i thought id share these shots with you Wink

These are some screens I took of Crysis and Gears of War.
About 2 of the Crysis shots were made with all settings on "very high"
and the rest were with effects set to very high, and everything else lowered to high. The GOW shots were all at max i think. I know they are rendered by Direct X 10

GOW performs a little better on my comp than Crysis like I expected, but I still have a little bit of stutter but its nothing bad enough to troubleshoot Wink

This is the reason I cant wait for Windows 7, so I can finally have a 64 bit OS so that I can get more ram SO that I can make crysis play better Big Grin

Yes I know I could go out and buy 64 bit vista, or XP 64 bit but alot of money was spent on vista 32 bit so Im not about to buy the same damn operating system again, especially since its so pricy.

I just got back from a Dimmu Borgir concert. I got knocked out and punched in the balls, but that is what the mosh pit does, it waits until they tell you to put up your metal horns and then it knocks you out and punches you in the balls.

Behemoth was pretty good, too. The opening band reminded me drastically of background movie for a pro-wrestler-cop-movie, or die hard, though.

Just thought it would be a cool feature to include in the next version.

Paint will of coarse change the color of the object, while trail will leave a trail of color behind the object, kinda like in gmod.

I know some hl2dm servers already have them, but the mods that have it are always so unstable unlike SourceOp. Tongue

Really. I have had up to 12-gigs of ram in this computer (Yay READYBOOST Flash drives) and vista takes about 46% of it. WHAT IN THE HELL DOES VISTA DO WITH 6 GIGS OF RAM!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!???????!!!???!?!?!????!

I think I found out. Today I got back from school and found this:

You saw it here first, A horrific flood of websites that can only be described as a 4chan waterfall.

I suspect that it does this in the background and brings it to the front when I am not around.

Vista users now know where their ram is going

Crysis multiplayer is pretty awesome. Power Struggle is really boring compared to Instant Action... Power Struggle seems to last forever... it even has a day/night cycle. It's kinda ghey TBH. But Instant Action is incredibly fun.
