I wrote this post in response to a question on the Steam forums and thought I might offer it to you guys also.

You'll need to add this to your autoexec.cfg, so that every class with an autoreloadable weapon can take advantage of the script.

*Note* If you don't have an autoexec, just copy any class config from your Steam\steamapps\USERACCOUNT\team fortress 2\tf\cfg folder, delete the contents, then rename it to "autoexec" without quotes, and insert the above reload script.

It's important that you go through and rebind your weapon keys in each class cfg so that you don't encounter the odd weapon behavior that can carry over after changing classes, because each class config is executed everytime you switch to the respective class. Rather than just forcing people to figure out how to do this correctly, I'll paste my class cfg contents so that you can fully understand what I mean and then tailor the scripts to your needs, keybinds, and preferences.

These are my preferred weapon binds, change these as you copy them to suit your preference:
c = primary weapon
v = secondary weapon
x = melee weapon

I realize that in a number of these aliases/binds a few commands are redundant; however this circumvents a few annoying behaviors that previously cropped up from time to time.

Please be sure to fully understand what these commands do before you change or copy/paste them to your configs.

I was trying to spawn as a scout at the round end so I could kill some people (and thought that slamming 1 and enter would speed that up) and got banned.

Please don't make me play on DIG servers for the next week.

New OS installed (removed vista and got xp back) and now I can't TF2 for shit.

Two issues:
One, my characters slide an few inches instead of "stopping on a dime" whenever I move/strafe etc. Which throws my entire precision game out the window.

Second, I get horrible video stutter/horizontal flashing lines whenever I die and it zooms in on who killed me. Even frapsed to show: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R676AZJH

If it helps, I've updated all my drivers on my mouse, my keyboard, my monitor and my video card.

G15 gaming Keyboard
Syncmaster 226bw Monitor
GTX 295 Video Card.

Until I resolve this issue, I'm Shit outta luck, and with the sniper update just a few days away too. >_<

I have a MB from about 4 years ago. About the time SATA tech came out. I bought a new HDD because the old one had a bad SMART and was going to crash any day.

I spent the last 2 days trying to get the damn thing to work. In my attempt to get my drives in order my external HDD was formatted.

I lost about 3 years worth of files that are gone. All my work files are gone.

As a result I did get the damn SATA drive with a new copy of XP installed on my computer but now I have two blank HDD's.

I await the flaming from all of you.

You may or may not have noticed that Valve maps #2, goldush, custom maps, and the arena server dissapeared for about 30 minutes today. This was because of a problem with the provider, The Planet.

Hello everyone. I am using the Role Play mod and when I entered the server for the first time today I was falling off the map because I do not have the correct spawn points. If you know the correct spawn points please post them. (That is not my question) (This is my question ---->) Today I went in my server for the first time after installing sourceop and I did the admintut and it went though and put myself as main admin (also its a hosted server on Game Servers) and I thought everything was fine and went though. But when I got the remote admin I put in my ip and port 2035 with user name and password tried to connect and it said Connection is forcefully rejected sourceop When I went to the servers rcon and typed in Plugin_print all it said was ===================
=================== so that tells me that the server did not take sourceop but I installed all files and folders correctly to the servers FTP I am also using lynx (hopes that makes you remember me lol) linux and I have all the proper installs for that as well. Thank you for all the time spent on this matter.

Now I know you are amazed but I don't think you understand the real point that is to be made here. And because I am modest and humble, I am going to skip right to this point: I am very important to this server. I provide an critical, structural role in the community: I get noobs to leave the server so that others can join.

Now I know what you're thinking. You're saying, "But Tarquin, you don't just make noobs ragequit, you make EVERYONE ragequit." I know, and that is a good point, but usually the pro-wannabes (Prodigy, Oh Noes, Bill Nye the Nublet Guy) will quit but then rejoin -- because they have no jobs or girlfriends.

The obvious conclusion: I should be sponsored with a reserved slot on this server. Considering the critical, functional role I play in keeping noobs out of the server, and by effect, also allowing newcomers to join a constantly-full server, it is obvious I should be sponsored with a reserved slot.

My majestic rocket jumps cannot wait for that noob medic on your team that lets you burn to death. Give me that reserved slot, I will replace him. And by this what I mean is: I was once on a team and no one refused to spy-check on top of B on Gravelpit. Well I went pyro and spy checked the roof the entire round. Have you ever seen a spy six-shot-revolver-jump up there? No, no you haven't, because they know I'm there waiting for them.
