Yeah, your heritage will NOT protect you from a 50-caliber round. And the fact that you mentioned combating it with a SHOTGUN proves that you won't be much good at protecting yourself either.

As far as the war goes, south was bound to fail for they whille the north was fighting for human rights, the south was fighting with ignorance and failure to adapt. If the south had won, we wouldn't even be a country right now (a bunch of rednecks trying to heal the economy after the depression = lol)

well what if my father was a vampire, and my mother was a direct desenent of foste??

and the reason the south didn't have good weapons was because the didn't have the resourses to make them, the tools to make good weapons back then were expensive, a musket back then would have cost over $10,000 today, and becauze the south had no maufaturing facilitys they had to by all there weapons from the north, and there for lost there suppliers before the war even started, and with almost all the navy in the hand of the north, they quickly lost the trade with outher contrys the south also had very few white cintizens, 64% of the south was slaves, yet the south managed to inflict heavy damage on the north and is relitivly green leadership, one more slip up on the union side and the war could have taken a very different path

LOL we are haveing a argument about the civil war, talk about tread derailment, what was this tread even about?

I am just saying, the southern empire was founded on ignorance. Even if they had every advantage in the world, the country they would have won would have been recaptured or destroyed by now just because of their very principles.

the only difference between them and us was slavery(which would have ended even if they won't) and wether a state had the right to suced from the union, tecnicaly the south was fighting for independance, and the north was trying to inpose its ideals on them, i knida wished the south did win, it would have been a great step towards a more unifed planet

You mean a bunch of divided states with a trumped up treasury? There is no way that a statehood like that could exist in this world. The ideals of the south were purely Utopian, and were otherwise unobtainable, whereas the ideals of the north brought us up into one of the most powerful countries in the world.

ah, but by seperating the two halves, two seperate cultures would have emerged and yet they would still be reliant upon eachother, thus bring about a greater sence of tolerence for what is different, and creating a greater trust between the two, and thus obsolving the hatred the still exists today between the two parts, as well as being a becon to the world that says, even thought we are differnet we can get along, this would creat a general feeling of unity around the world, and we would be less inclined to to kill whoever we wanted just because they have differnt skin color and belive in a different god
and then, just maybe people would realize that we are all just humans, stuck together, wether we like it or not, on this rock flying threw space, and that by helping eachother we help ourselfs, to achive a better future for everyone

Or we would have put up trade embargoes, like we did with england, until world war one. and then our still-crippled nation would have been at the stand -still that would have been extended GREATLY by our absence, until one of the countries decided that we would make a good resource center, and we would be in the control of either the allies or Austria-Hungary

what i'm saying is that the two halves can not survive without eachother, the north produced tools used to farm, and the south had farmable land

But if the south would have won, than it would have likely decided to take over the north instead of just conceding...

thought this is only my opinion, i do not belive that to be the case, the civil war was not about slavery as most belive but wether a state had the right to suceed, the south was trying to seperate itself from the north, not coquer it, but the north intended to conquer the south, remeber, this is still a time when america was very imperialistc
