CIVIL WAR! even though the union won the war, the suffered far worse casualties than the confederacy, despite having better weapon technology than the south 8).

The reasons the union won the war is becuase of....

1. bigger population
2. more resources, more industrialized.

The south was much more skilled with weaponry, than the north, but north had better technology, and more pawns to through in front of the enemy
