Ghosts skills are real. Although if he'd ever record a demo of himself you guys could see that.

I personally haven't seen him play in anything but arena, and it's probably been two years I've been playing on the SourceOP server and I've seen him there, and he's never once used a mic.

He's not unbeatable, I have dominated him a few times as Scout and once as Spy (The fact that I remember though shows you it means something to dominate him though, lol), but he's very good at Spy with Ambassador/Dead Ringer. But it's frustrating because he only uses that anymore.

Back in "the day", when Ambassador/Dead Ringer didn't exist, you could see Ghost as a Pyro right next to you spin around with M1 held in and he'd still manager to backstab you, and had amazing accuracy with the revolver at long range even though it's supposed to not be very accurate from that far away (this is before the first shot 100% accuracy too).

In short, he's a really really good player as Spy on arena, join up and try to beat him.

But, he's resorting to very annoying and close to exploitative mechanics with the DR, and seems to refuse to play any other class and never switches from the DR/Ambassador. Maybe he's afraid to get killed as another class or he thinks everyone is counting on him to own as Spy, but I think more and more people are stopping giving him kudos as a good player because all he seems to want is to win as his one class.

That said anyone that thinks he's just okay or his skills are over rated hasn't played against him much. He's very very consistent and hard to beat.

As for best Spy in TF2... I'm going to have to say I haven't seen anyone come close to his skill yet.

It's also hard to say that you're the best spy in tf2 when you only play one very specific mode. I doubt he'd do as well if he played on cp maps.
