#21

well, if nothing else I suggested works, and you are too lazy to list a list of parts for listing, than just call it DOA and send it back.

gears of war is overrated anyway... it likes to shit allover everything for not being a 360, even though they have a port with identical gameplay for the super-Nintendo (if that has any reflection on the depth of the game at all), in which the only suffrage is frame-rate

plus now they have way to make pc users to pay for xbox live

I don't see how they could ever get me to pay for xbox-live. They lowered the price when they released the 360, and that was just about enough to get me to stop DOS'ing their nodes... which, if you could imagine a halo-douche's expression when you break their precious halo-douche-fest (server). it is priceless.

I dont get why GOW is supposed to be able to run on a 6600 gt, but it runs unimaginably bad on my pc =/

Maybe its the other hardware?

If my pc cant run GOW then its finally at its limit. Ive finally squeezed all the use i could out of it. It was a good run Cry

My PC has had a good run. It's about 4 years old (probably older) and can barely play new games.

P4 3.4GHz
BFG NVIDIA 6800 Ultra overclocked 256MB
3GB Corsair XMS RAM

Time for a new one. No $$$. Sad

Wow, what kind of fps do you get? What resolution do you run? I get about 20fps on 1280x1024. I don't get much better on 1024x768. Medium quality settings all around I think.

I get 20-40 fps on 800x600. high model detail and low shadow and shader detail. It's playable though, somehow. lol
