first my nickname was Dr. Kleiner, then I though "what a stupid nickname" and decided to change. Blue Kleiner was the best ideia of a bunch of trash that I though.

My nickname was firstly EricPires9 because, well, that is my name and was my age when I made my first e-mail.

I started registering everywhere only with this username and when I wanted to change it, it was already too late.

Oh well. One day, I was playing on Harvest, where I'm an awesome sniper. I got so many kills that a guy said "Hey! You should change your name to EpicPires9". I thought it wouldn't be obvious my name was Eric, so I came up with Epic Eric.

Some time later, I started using random unicode digits on my name just to make it look fancy.

My friends got me sucked into myspace a while ago, so I had to come up with a cool hip name, but it also had to be funny. So I thoughtt up kockeyednerd since I have a lazy eye, it kind of just fit. Then I took a funny picture of myself which is now my avatar and used it as my profile picture.


I've been thinking of changing my name lately though, just because of the fact that a lot of places outright ban the name, and it seems to get a lot of server admins angry for some reason. So i've been thinking of changing it to fibrous dysplasia, named after the disease I have.

In the glory days of BBSing(mid 80's) when I started telecommunications, my nickname was Soviet Guard. Why? Well, I used to read a lot on WWII and while being of German background, I admired Soviet resiliency to bounce back. Soviet Guard were the so-called elite Russian units. Rostov was the name I used when playing BBS games(like LORD, Tradewars, Space Empires, etc). Eventually, I just used Rostov for everything. So uh, yeah. Rostov. 25 years and still going strong.
