It seems that people think they can ruin another persons game time by constant threat of votekick or other harassment. Pybro Loves Kapex has not stopped harassing me since the incident with Saucey over votekicking me for choosing Heavy as my class. She and some others still try to kick unsuspecting new players for going heavy.
Tonight, a 12 year old named Ruby <3 Trunks or something similar started trying to voteban me because I muted a player named Yosshed who is constantly spamming the mic with music. She wouldn't stop, but she's just a 12 year old kid. She said something stupid like votekick for Yosshed.
My issue is that Pybro, who actually holds some sway, starting encouraging others to voteban me too. I told them to stop or I'd contact admin. She started saying "don't tell me what to do" and "you aren't the boss of me" in reference to my stating something similar to Saucey when he tried to impose "community rules" on me. She also said mockingly "I'm really scared" that I would contact admin. Like she can get away with that BS cause she has friends who play on the server.
She then gave my spot away and then said "yes!" in chat. I told her we'll see if she should be afraid and left the server. I'd appreciate it if you would be so kind to put some fear in her for me.
The only other recommendation I can make is that you give limited admin to some trustworthy players and give them guidelines they must follow. I believe pedo bear, X, and pumpkin bomb would be fair limited admins given they had guidelines.

Why don't you ever use contact admin when this is happening? I see no reason not to.
It's quite difficult for anyone to really do much when all they are going off is he said she said.
It's not my decision to make, but, I probably wouldn't take any actual action other than warn them. Unless some evidence comes or there are other people who have witnessed it, that chime in. I simply don't see what you can expect the admins to do other than warn/talk to the person. But, again, not my choice.
In other news, we probably could stand to have an admin on that server.(Or two)

I forgot about that feature,... I will use that in the future if it happens again, but I'd expect a damn war if I ever did.

Please, don't listen to Optimus.
He is a troll on the prophunt server. I've joined and played on propgunt for more than a year, I have much experience on that server, I've connected more than 1200+ times, and more than 20 days on only Ph.
I need to point this so you can know that I'm not talking shit.
Optimus is very mean to the players, and towards me. We most of the times kick him, because
1.- disrespectful to other players (including Saucey Nips, Ruby, etc), also to myself.
2.- Barely joins to the server and start acting like if he is the "pro"
This is the 2 major reasons. Also, I put music on the server ( like a DJ, and), but he way my ingame name is Yosshed, people enjoy my music, so do I enjoy that they like it. But Optimus starts acting like a bitch, he can simple mute me, but instead of that, he start to votekicking me ( even though no one wants to kick me, since they know me, and I know them). Also he is very mean towards me for no reasons.

All Optimus does is come on the server to mess with people, and it's old. He will just insult people, or try to kick them for various reasons, when he simply just doesn't like them. What I don't understand is when he had his issue with Saucey, I told him that if he would just be a decent, calm player, then I had no problem with him, and I wouldn't bother him.
He was just a new player, so I didn't care. I wasn't going to continually votekick someone for not knowing the server. And I'm sorry this is an issue at all. But many people have problems with him, and I've tried to just ignore him, but all he does it bother people.
The server desperately needs at least two admins. It's horrible, some days, when we can't even votekick someone screaming into their mic, or people who are actually hacking. Regulars are leaving the server because the community is shit and out of control.
And I agree with Yossef, all Optimus does is harass him for playing music for us.

Well more admins is the solution. We can agree on that if nothing else.
I must add that I don't harass Yosshed and only started a votekick against him once the first time I heard him. At most I type in chat that I muted him. I don't think it's fair that he mic spams whether or not some people enjoy the music,... It keeps other people(not really me as I rarely talk) from being able to talk.
The only people who have a problem with me are their friends who either like drama or are still not over the Saucey incident.
And I'm the one who told Pybro if she was decent and asked nicely, I'd be willing to play by her rules from time to time. But that it was still my choice to go heavy or not. She didn't like that though and has found it hard to play nice,...
Blah, blah, blah, more admins, blah, blah.

Except being a Heavy isn't kickable. I don't care if you play Heavy, but you're making it seem like I try to kick you every chance that I get. Except I don't. In the situation you described, I wasn't even the one kicking you, yet you don't mention the ones who were. You are free to play, but when you start harassing people, the regulars are bound to be nasty. I'm not going to let you pick on little kids through a video game.

You're going down the wrong path here. The basis of your argument is invalid on so many points. The reason you get votekicked is because nobody wants to deal with you any more. We, as a community, have asked you to stop being the troll you are and doing douchebaggery things. You're plain ridiculous sometimes. Yossef and Pybro are regulars and it's people like you who run off people like me and the other regulars over your immature acts, your lies, and your (for lack of a better word), BS you cause.
Now, this is coming from someone, like Yossef, who has 1,858 connects and 24 days 43 minutes of time played on prophunt over the past nearly two years. Just putting in my $0.02. I guess I could also say that I'm the #1 with 4026 credits...

It's more dramatic than the Goldrush server.
As Butane said, he'll be on more to keep an eye out. In the future, use contactadmin as has been told to what feels like half the server population now. While more admins would help on all the SourceOP servers, that feature lets us properly use the ones we have.
