I was wondering why does OP Tf2 not have alltalk on.
It really is boring when you can only talk to your own team also makes playing with your friends a pain.

Any chance of getting alltalk on by default or even a vote system

Really you think,
Most servers now adays have alltalk on.
Never seen a real problem with it.

Mainly not using alltalk is for game play reasons.
But as it doesnt matter as most people dont use it to actuall help gameplay then it shouldnt really matter.

Rage quit isn't a problem?

While all-talk is fun for random conversations, it destroys any strategy the other team has, since instead of coordinating with mics, they have to waste time typing. Basically it's a pain in the ass if you want to play seriously and work better as a team.

The best way around this problem is having two voice chat buttons, one for all-talk and one for team-talk, but that doesn't exist yet.

I actually used blacklist for the first time a month ago. When I came to a server that had a bunch of annoying people who wouldn't stop talking on alltalk. That and really bad admins who changed to bad maps without a vote.
