Stacking on the goldrush server.
#1

I like the map Goldrush, so I figured I would join the 24/7 server for a little bit of playtime this afternoon, and when I join, one team is up on the other 25-3, and on the round I joined, the losing team didn't even make it to the first cap.

The server is stupid with the stacking, shorten the map time, add a scramble, force random team join, do something, it's not fun on either side of the stack and the losing team had a steady stream of having people leave then people joining and unwittingly taking their place.

The stacking thing is a problem on any server where people know each other. The only place you won't get stacking is on complete random/new pubs where nobody knows each other.

The map timelimit is supposed to be 150 minutes, but when you joined it might have been longer because I changed it last night and it might have stuck around.

If it's not fun for either side then you think the stacked team would be responsible and switch themselves over as people on the other team leave.

Ok let me rephrase that, I personally don't find being on the stacked team fun. It's the rank-whoring LULZ I HAV 200 PIONTS ON SCOREBOARDZ that are ruining the server and there is no point in playing on it unless you enjoy long acts of futility or being a stacking point whore.

I see this more as a player than an admin. People complain of team stacking if they lose one map and start screaming about it in chat.

If teams are evenly balanced, then no map would ever leave the first stage, one side HAS to be unbalanced in some way.

The only example is when you see groups that always have 3-4 people on the cart and it never stops moving and that is very rare indeed.
