Your right i probably could have been more concise but as it is i threw up a WALL of text. That is what i meant by "give them a different look" and sometimes on certain maps there are only a limited number of positions you can snipe from and keep distance to your advantage. Then you have to do different things like manouvre-crouch/shoot-manouvre or wiggle left/right-shoot.

"I strongly disagree.
Snipers kill people. Sure. But the ones who do not move up when killing them are worthless.
Basic TF2 knowledge :
Kill enemy -> Move up to where that enemy was.
Most snipers = Kill enemy -> Wait for them to come back.
And this, is the "I" behavior."
You have a valid point and something i am working on the ability to snipe from the cart while it is on the move, that is by far IMHO a most difficult challange. To rebut; The major advantage a sniper has is the ability to kill from long range (longer than any other class in the game with a fairly reliable degree of certainty) and to sacrifice that advantage puts the sniper at the disadvantage. I do feel in that situation as a sniper my job is to keep the enemy's heads down, provide a target for them to shoot at or worry about, and provide an umbrella of withering fire that my shorter ranged compatriots can advance under until they get close enough to be effective. Once they have secured an area up front then hopefully they will wait for me to advance, then rinse and repeat. The job is "long range accurate death, ONE bullet at a time". There is NO spam with a sniper.
I am delighted at the responses my post has had, and thank all responders.
