Before the bashing begins on how "lame" he is watch his YouTube videos. This guy has one of the largest collections of video games ever and seems to have had a decent life. Clearly his inability to balance family life and gaming was his downfall.

In a way, I feel bad for him. It's unfortunate that it took him this long to realize that being AFK is a much better life than the one stuck staring at a screen.

He's right though. Prioritize. What's important to you? PCs and games aren't. I'm a musician, that's my passion. If I'm spending more time playing games than I am becoming the best musician possible, I'm wasting my time.

Unknown, that's a great question that everyone should ask themselves, no matter how uncomfortable it might make them. The only reason I play TF2 is to relax, but I end up getting up from my chair tense and stressed. And that's just translates to your family/significant others.

All this petty stuff about how cool you think you are on the internet, and how tough someone might say they are, or all the "your momma" jokes people make leaves my mind the instant I disconnect from SourceOP - because that's not my life.

Wow, i mean, of course we all love video games and I'm a retro fan as any as well as a PC gamer but shit, you can't play and beat every single game in existence! I understand collecting, but I don't do it anymore, I only buy shit anymore I actually play/use.

I wonder if his wife gave him an ultimatum and said the video games or me and he chose the games. If so, he does have a serious addiction and needs help.

Well put Hawkens85 I play TF2 is to relax , blow off steam , and kill time.I dunno if gamers have just changed so much from when I started playing HL mods in 1999 or what.Half the time I just wind up pissed off.

I play video games to fill the gaping void in my life where sports used to be until I discovered that my legs were trying to kill me and my back was fucked up.
