I donated earlier tonight and later when i tried to connect to the server I was getting denied. I had let the form fill in my steam id so i thought I would make sure it was right. My paypal reciept has STEAM_1:1:701782 when my actual number is STEAM_0:1:701782 which is the same as on the stats page.
dunno what happened. they were so close I thought it was right. If someone can set me straight I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

I dunno maybe it's working now. I am getting a message that i have a reserved slot but the server has reached it 16 slot limit.
anyway someone look into this and make sure things are cool. I am giving up for the night.

I couldn't login either (and I'm a frequent donor). I suspect it's going to be like this for most of the weekend.

Due to the increase in regs on the servers, the 16 spots set aside for the reserved slots are full quite a bit. Don't forget that there are other SourceOP servers that are waiting to be filled.
It's not a technical issue, it's just that DF leaves 16 of the 32 slots open to the public.

I believe you have to be connected to steam friends for the slot to work. STEAM_1 is the correct ID for SourceOP servers. There's a story behind that one.

Hey guys I am new around here and two TF2 in general. I love these servers so I decided to donate $10 for a reserved slot but I too am getting the server is full message. What exactly is this talk about steam friends? Does it let me enter a full server now with my reserved slot?

Yes i opened the console and typed "connect 74.55.49.245" it just showed me a small box that said disconnected server is full. I am pretty sure I gave the correct steam ID as well.

A bunch of recent donators had input the wrong steam id. I fixed them. Yours was probably among them. Go ahead and check to see if it works now.
