Hi. I've tried getting the reserved slot to work per your instructions (typing connect and 67.228.59.145) but the game always tells me, failed after four attempts. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Nope. Followed the directions to the letter. Question, will it not let me in if everybody else is reserved people too? Maybe that's the problem.

Usually doesn't work right away, have to wait for the server to change maps before it works.

If it's been a while, then it's something else.

ya i think its been about a week. I'm gonna check so more online and see if there is anything I can do in the meantime.

How much did you donate?

Did you donate at least $10? Did you enter your Steam ID as Steam_0: ... or Steam_1: ...?

If you donated the minimum required and the problem is due to an incorrectly entered Steam ID or some other technicality, Drunken F00l will be able to assist you further.

For future reference, if you are unable to connect due to the server being full on reserve slots, you will get a message that says, "You have a reserve slot but there are already 16 slots in use" [paraphrasing].

I donated ten (sort of limited funds at the moment). I tried connecting to another random server with the connect command in console and it told me the same thing. Something along the lines of (after four retries could not connect to the server). I'm gonna try and look up some fixes. If you guys have any advice for this problem let me know. Thanks for being so helpful.
