Never had a problem, you must of fucked up big time. Oh and calling out on the graphics designer, that's pretty low man.

Calling out the website was really low I agree, I also agree with Adder that the prophunt server has to be one of the hardest servers to admin on. The gamemode itself promotes trolling and so does everyone on the mic it's annoying to play there can't imagine trying to admin there.

Alright- I'm what you could call a "regular" on the SourceOP Prophunt Server, and have visited recently. Before I go on with this wall of text, I'd like to say that I am in no way favoring either side, as I'm merely an observer of the attitudes and actions of both R2-DERP2 and Woraug.

Now, I understand that admin'ing the Prophunt server is difficult because there are interesting characters in there, and well, it's hard not to call it a closed community at times. But we don't mind all of the new people that join the server and have fun. I have never once raged in that server, even when the explosive barrels were going off.

In the name of fun, I can see why R2-DERP2 was just playing around, and I can vouch that he used noclip to WATCH the props hide, but never abuse it to find them and kill them. He did use explosive barrels to hide himself and kill the pyro, and did use godmode even when there were only two props left, but he didn't abuse it to kill the pyros. He did deny the other prop a scattergun, but that can be argued as a "non-prophunt like behavior" for a prop to have the scattergun anyway. Not that we don't like that feature.

Woraug, I believe that you took appropriate action on this matter, but I can't tell if your private chat was abusive and aggressive without any proof. I can agree that he shouldn't over-use it (as he does at times), but I believe R2-DERP2 does it rarely enough that it isn't TOO often of a problem.

That's just my 2cents.

I'm a regular on the prop hunt server under the name Dr. Acula, and I'm with Woraug. I've never encountered an admin who was on such a power trip. He pretty much shows up out of nowhere (I've been playing for a year and have never seen him before) claiming to help, but most of what I've seen him do is argue with the regulars who aren't happy with him. If he really gets fed up with you disagreeing with him he bans you.

He claims to always give a warning before kicking. When another regular asked if a player that was just kicked was given a warning, he too was kicked (without warning, for 30 hours). He seems to enjoy talking down to anyone who questions how hes running the server. He wants the game to be balanced, but who else has 2 million + credits at their disposal? There's really no use reasoning with him as he maintains a "whatever, screw you, I am always right because I say I am" attitude.

I know i am new here and don't even have TF2, but I have played it for a while at a friends, including prop hunt. I see no problem in an admin having a little fun every once in a while, so long as it's not happening constantly. I also think that you need more evedence than just a chat snapshot. Get video of it, it's hard to fake a legit looking video, and it's perfect proof.
I have no idea what really happened so I am not on either side, just stating my opinion on this matter.

If it matters for anything, I can vouch for Woraug in saying that R2-DERP2 does use powers that everyone has available to them. Being an admin though, he has millions of credits. Regulars earn credits by getting 10 kills in a round on a prophunt map, although it's possible to get more than 10. It just goes by multiples of 10. Just a bit of background info for you non-prophunters who want to give opinions.

So versed gave away all his items, or he got hacked. While I think it's a little extreme to give away items in an FPS game for losing admin. I find it a little strange to even remove his admin in the first place. While I don't remember him coming onto Valve 1 as often as he was on Valve 2; most people on both of those servers would agree that they never had a problem. I have visited the pro hunt server a few times, and yes it is a very silly place, even more so than the goldrush server. Anyone remember Kittehlee spamming baseballs because she was either really mad, really bad, or just being idiotic. I don't see anyone making a thread(except sivic) saying her admin should be taken away. Hell, I honestly never liked her either, but I never tried to get her admin taken away, or make threads saying to.

Unless their was problems before this, you should consider giving back the admin rights.

First off I want to let you guys know that I'm neutral and that I'm one of the so called "regulars" on the SourceOP Prop Hunt Server. I was reading this thread since it dealt with the server that I love to frequent and I wanted to give my two cents.

A) I was once an admin long ago on a CS:S server(Because I was part of a clan) and I can understand how difficult it is to admin for a server and I have to somewhat agree with the craziness that goes on in the server. But on the same note I don't think using your powers for your own fun is right either. Because the way I see it, you are there to make sure everyone else is having fun, and yea that's tough.

B)About Woraug, he is a reasonable individual, respected among us fellow prop hunters, and I can guarantee that he's not trying to bullshit anyone, he's just simply looking out for his friends and try to work with what he's got.

C) I can suggest solutions. Us fellow prop hunters have been dealing with problems ourselves until late. Mostly because admins never frequented the server so we took matters into our own hands using things like votekick for example. It wasn't always perfect but it got the job done most of the time. So we can always go back to the old way of us dealing with the problems ourselves. Or if it's possible select one of the regulars to be admin of just that server. And I'm not saying a full admin, I just mean an admin that can do the essentials, kick ban and mute for example. That way it doesn't stress out the official admins because yea that server can be annoying. And I'm sure some of the regulars are qualified(including myself)

D)To summarize things. I respect Versed trying to do the best he can, he made some mistakes but they are acceptable ones. As for Woraug he also can be foolish but he's just doing what he thinks is right and for the solutions... You don't have to do what I said but I feel like that's the win win for everyone. Again I frequent the prop hunt server often so I know what everyone is talking about.

Sorry for the massive wall of text.. I just felt like I needed to get my two cents in as well.
