Recently, admin abuse has been rampant among the Prophunt server. The admin Versed (AKA R2-Derp2), has been on a rampage of banning/kicking people with no warning, for disagreeing or arguing with him in any way and calling it "trolling", abusing his power by enabling god mode on himself, using noclip to find people, spawning dozens of exploding barrels around the control point so that no one could access it, and being an all around asshat.

Even with all that aside, his overall attitude towards the users is unacceptable, and totally unbecoming of an admin of such a popular and respected community.

I also propose that either the Sourceop writes a list of set rules and regulations for it's community, or just allow it (the prophunt at least) to return to it's general self policing. It's worked pretty well for us for quite some time. This setup where the only rule is "behave like an adult" is far too vague and subjective to be of any real worth. It's being read by the staff as "I'll do what I want, when I want. If I don't like you, you're going to go away".

I would also like to submit these screenshots of my conversations with various regular users of the Sourceop Prophunt community. I have blanked out any of my personal conversations that do not pertain to the subject matter, and I have also blanked out their names, to prevent any possible backlash on them.

























With all that said, I would like to request that Versed (AKA R2-Derp2) be removed from the staff, and the other staff that moderate the Prophunt server to be investigated.

First of all.. MASSIVE wall of text / images that I really don't care to read. Second, I do graphic arts for a living and fabricating these images is extremely easy (not saying they are fabricated) just saying I don't hold much weight to user submitted images.

What I WILL say is that while a few of the regulars, yourself included, may not like certain things I've said doesn't mean everyone dislikes it. I've had a dozen people contact me to come in and resolve a problem and they were quite happy about it. Sadly, the only feedback admins get are negative ones like yourself.

I've talked to a few of the regulars and they've discussed issues with me. I will cover the major ones that you brought up and seem to be a large problem for most people.

Kicking without warning

I've apologized for this already and I haven't done it since it's been brought to my attention that by kicking someone from Prop Hunt makes them loser their credit. All parties affected by this have been given their credit(s) back. I kick on regular servers because people don't look at green chat, kicking gets their attention much easier.

Admin Hacks

I do not have any ability to cheat as an admin. The only person who has any ability to do anything is Drunken F00l. What I have done a few times is spawn some barrels, no-clip and godmode. NEVER have I killed anyone using such methods nor given myself an unfair advantage because of it. It is all done in good fun and ANYONE on the Prop Hunt server has the ability to do it.

The reason I banned you is because I've told you multiple times that I will not discuss this issue or any of these issues in game. You continue to ignore me and rage on and on about these "problems"

I've told you that if you care to discuss it you can talk to me in private chat away from the flow of the server. You opted not to take this option (after I have you 3 warnings by the way) so you were banned for 24 hours.

Unless Drunken F00l tells me otherwise I will continue to ban you for disrupting the server if you do it in the future.

So from what I see here you have no proof. Good one there, I'm sure you will provide the forums with a very compelling argument to support your stance. And screenshots of people who don't like him isn't going to help you.

Sometimes I go to mess around on the prophunt server and I have to type in voice_enable 0 in the console after 30 seconds, bunch of idiots screaming into their microphones and spamming. I don't know how Versed gets by without permabanning the entire server.

Also, wanting to get an admin removed because you argued with him and got a 24 hour ban, are you shitting me? You got off easy, try any of that shit on a CS:S server and get perma banned from an entire community of servers because an admin doesn't like your spray, or you killed him and talked trash.

Seriously, grow up and stop being such a tool.

If someone is such an abusive admin it shouldn't be too hard to press a hotkey that records a demo, I have record bound to h and stop bound to i for this reason. When I played I would record demo's and just stop the demo before map change if I didn't have anything noteworthy happen. This whole process took me about all of two seconds maybe 10 more if i had to rebind h because I did happen to catch something.
But I was doing it for recreational purposes, admins shouldn't be on trial 24/7. If you can't trust your admins to behave without being under video surveillance they probably shouldn't be admins to begin with.

Most players don't have anything bound for recording demos, or even think to manually do it during the event (whatever it may be - other players hacking, avoiding kicks, etc).
And I'm not suggesting this due to mistrust of admins, but more of ensuring the playerbase doesn't have to get into arguments based on their word versus an admins if something happens. Admins have made mistakes in the past; mandatory demos would be a step to ensuring that the facts can be brought out prior to 3 page threads of arguing. A second step would be a web form on the main page to deal with admin issues (disputing bans, reporting abuse, etc) that shoots an email to DF and the other admins rather than holding open court in Problems/Help.

It's a 1 day ban. Just suck it up and deal with it. I've seen DF ban for far less than you are complaining about. Sourecop has almost no rules except civility, but when you start trolling an admin, you are just asking for a ban. If you go look at the other bans on the list, DF has banned for griefing/mic spamming/etc as well.

In addition, going around and gathering gripes from players in text chat won't do you any good since we can all change our usernames at whim. If you wanted support, you should ask those who you spoke to, to reply in this post. Essentially showing their IP's to the admins. I can dual-boot steam on my PC and chat with myself from my own account. It's not hard. I could have changed that accounts name and made tons of chats and screenshotted it.
