Ram booster...
#1

Lets take a minute to talk about software features shall we!?

A software has had alot of great strides in the last few years. it came to be that software could not just perform the one task that it was made for initially. Wordprocessors got spell checks and auto-paragraphing. Music and audio players got playlists and visuallizations. These features became more and more prominent over the years so that programs like NotePad were turned into programs like Microsoft word.

Not all of these features were usefull, however. some features got in the way and hindered the performence of the program, or took so many resources that the program couldnt run at the same time and the feature had to be split off as a seperate application. but there is one thing that even I havent seen:

A FEATURE THAT IS ONLY NOT USEFULL, BUT WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA AND SUBTRACTS FROM THE TOTAL USEFULLNESS OF THE PROGRAM ITSELF.

and this example is that incedence to the extreme. this is the storey of:

Ram Booster
the true story of OmegaZero_Alpha's shitty ram booster

Those who fear for the safety of their computer or are sensitive about the computers of others may want to divert their attention.

One day, OmegaZero_Alpha was watching as his computer slowwed to a stop due to a combo of a large program he is fond of and WindowsBlinds, in which he recently installed.

Omega has heard, however, of a program that could enable him to use both of the programs at the same time, with System res' to boot. So Omega fired up the old google-engine and found his target.

This program was called Ram Booster, and it functions simmilar to the Disk Defragmentor that is instaled by default on most Windows computers, exept it defragments and organized system processes to free up ram.

This program worked perfectly, Omega could not only use his program with his favorite widgets and themes, but he could listen to his favorite music whille doing so. But all was not well... as the hidden feature would soon strike one mighty and infinate blow right through the heart of Omega's hard-drive.

One night omega went to fire up his computer after it had been tipped over. But little did omega know, when his computer tipped his secondary hard-drive was rendered disconnected, causing a boot failure. This was not a problem, though, as omega easily plugged the hard drive right back in. AT HIS OWN PERIL!!!

The RAM BOOSTER struck fast and swift with it's hidden feature: "automatic system restore upon boot failure" and it's function was this: if the sytem fails to boot whille Ram Booster is installed, the program blaims itself and automatically performs a system restore, but if you dont set a restore point to use (which it doesnt tell you to do) than it picks by default:

TO THE EARLIEST FUCKING RESTORE POINT IT CAN FIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS THE MOST WORTHLESS PEICE OF SHIT PROGRAMMING IVE EVER HEARD OF!!! WHO IN THE HELL MAKES A PROGRAM THAT AUTOMATICALLY ROLLS BACK YOUR SYTEM TO MAY 10th. WHY CANT IT USE THE RESTORE POINT IT MADE WHEN I INSTALLED IT? WHO THOUGHT THIS FEATURE TO BE USEFULL!?! WHY WOULD THEY IMPLEMENT THIS!?! DO YOU THINK THAT THE MAKERS OF THIS PROGRAM USES BULLETPROOF SHEETS, GOD I HOPE NOT.

Yeah, so dont expect me on as im going to be re-downloading all of my music and downlaods since march, the last time i backed up my system, and if any of the makers of this program are in your neigborhood, vote them off the island, and i mean the entire fucking dual-american continent (north, south and central america).

shouldn't you have read software manuals, terms of use, and any kind of legal documents that came with the software before using it? It's really sad that you had to experience this tragedy but I just can't stop laughing you got rolled back  it reminds me of Diablo2 rollbacking, a method used to dupe/duplicate items illegally. Anyway, I use programs that unload unused dll's and close hung up applications and they are much better than programs like "Ram Booster". Not all speed-up programs are bad you know

dude any third party program that messes with your comp's hardware should be a major no-no
that is unless you get a friend to try it on there comp first so if anything goes wrong you will have second hand knowledge of it
they may not be your friend for long but who needs friends when you got a comp that works
