I can't wait for the flaregun, it's the first true new weapon in the game.

Yea, that's going to be sweet. I wonder how long the reload time is going to be (because I'm sure it's a single shot) or how many total shots you get before you run out of ammo for it.
And I might actually switch back and forth between some of these guns when needed, unlike my medic weapons. lol

I'll probaly use the 3 pyro unlockables.
So far the only weapon out of 6 I'm not using is the blutsaugher.
Crit needles ftw

I love the blutsauger because I sucked pretty bad with the original needle gun. To me the blutsauger is kind of similar to when they gave the Pyro a sound to confirm when you're hitting someone with your flames, but instead of a sound it's a +3. lol
I don't use the kritzkrieg because I find the ubercharge to be more useful the majority of the time. Not saying the KK isn't useful, but it sucks when you get one crit off and either you or the medic gets killed my some random crit or something like that. -.-

I want to know if ricocheted rockets do 100% damage to the owner.
I think the airblast sounds like a defensive beast from the description. Uber demo or heavy coming at your team's sentries? Blow em away. Heavy on your point? Blow em away. And so on. It looks like a really good tool to protect key locations. That being said you'd still probably want the backburner offensively. I can't see playing ping-pong with rockets on a regular basis being a good idea

Airblast is going to be amazing. I was talking about it with Sergeant Balls last night. Just wait and see, people are going to come up with some amazing unique uses for it that will make pyros valuable team members.
As for the unlockables, I'm not sure I like them so much. I love me some shotgun. At the very least, I can't see myself using backburner and flare gun at the same time; would leave me too vulnerable.

Probably best to pick either Backburner OR Flare Gun, depending on if you're more offensive or defensive it looks like.

Only one I can see myself using is the new flamethrower for certain.
My only question about it is if I circle strafe around someone, will the angle I need to get crits be the same as a backstab?

I'm sure they'll use the same hit registration logic for backburner. (Which is bad.)

If an enemy is behind another one while the first has his back to you, both will get critted even if the other one was looking your way.
Same for the axtinguisher, I bet.
